You've got two fairly good bets:

Divehaven in White, GA is just about an hour's drive from the shop. They have very good entry and exit points, restrooms and showers. Diver's entry fee is $25.

Loch Low Minn in Athens, TN is about two and a half hours away. Very pretty dive site with Paddlefish! Diver's entry fee is also $25.
