River Scout

The Arapaima, the world's largest freshwater fish, is featured int he Amazonian fish exhibit. Along with the Arapaima, the Arawana fish is displayed. The Arawana has tremendous leaping ability to catch it's food above the water. Additioanlly, Piranha  fill an area where a close look can be had of the razor sharp teeth of the predator.

You will be mesmerized by the asian small-clawed otter, as they swim in the waterfalls and simulated habitat river flowing overhead.
